Diane de Jong

Albany/Silverdale Franchise Owner

Diane grew up in Albany and then moved to Hobbs Bay on Whangaparaoa Peninsula.

Later in life, Peter and Diane were married at Orewa and have lived in many different parts of the Rodney district (including Matakana and Wainui) and then lived on “the coast” and raised their two sons there.

Diane has been involved in different clubs and organizations on the Hibiscus Coast and worked as a Travel Consultant and Tour Escort for House of Travel before Covid-19.  When she’s not in the shop, you will find her working on travel itineraries for my small group trips to Europe to experience river cruising.

Diane has always loved Christmas and her home is always decorated for the festive season with all the trimmings so becoming the franchisee for The Christmas Heirloom Company was a dream job for her.

Diane feels very lucky to be able to share my love of the Christmas season with other people who love Christmas as much as she does.

Whether it’s helping our customers choose a special heirloom piece for their home, gifts to send to loved ones, helping them select the right tree, making a bespoke wreath or table centrepiece for them or giving advice on lights and tree decoration – Diane genuinely love it all.

Diane will be offering classes in store on how to make a wreath, garland or centrepiece.  Contact her for class times and other information.
