For 20 years its been Christmas all year round for Wendy as Managing Director and Owner of The Christmas Heirloom Company™.
Residing in Gordonton, Wendy spends her time between the Hamilton office and our Auckland warehouse overseeing the successful running of the company.
Day-to-day her role and appearance changes, from the well-groomed executive meeting with suppliers and clients, to jeans and sneakers offloading containers and unpacking boxes.
Wendy is involved in the setup and design of our pop up stores, and loves to get away from the office in the busy season to work with our customers in store.
Whilst working all year round towards Christmas, Wendy loves that each month is different and she is working towards the excitement of the Christmas season.
As we near closer to Christmas you will find Wendy on top of a ladder installing our Hire trees across Auckland and the greater Waikato, and covered in glitter.
Murray and Wendy have owned and operated The Christmas Heirloom Company for over 20 years.
Murray is involved in many different ways, from supporting Wendy on a day to day basis with business decisions, to helping out in our warehouse when we need extra man power and ‘muscles’.
Murray is involved in the logistics side of the business, and on the day to day in the season you might see Murray delivering Christmas trees to our customers, unloading containers, and helping install our large hire trees for our corporate and residential customers.
When he needs an escape from Christmas, Murray enjoys spending time at the beach in Tairua and out fishing.
Anna has been involved with The Christmas Heirloom Company™ since she was at school. Covering several different roles while she studied, she is well accustomed to being covered in glitter and fluffing Christmas trees.
Anna oversees the Marketing and promotions in the lead up to our Christmas season, as well as, managing our pop up stores in the Waikato and Wellington region.
A highlight for each year is going on the buying trip with Wendy to select the following year’s range, planning and then seeing it come to life in the stores. Creating something that is magical, innovative and captivates our customers year after year is a challenge and the most fun part of her job.
Based in our Hamilton office, Chrizaan is the bubbly voice you will hear on the phone if you call with an enquiry.
Chrizaan carefully packs all our online orders for customers unable to visit our stores, and she also organises our well awaited store openings.
Through the year Chrizaan works with local community groups and social clubs to organise fundraising evenings for them, and then creates a night to remember with her fun demonstrations in store sharing the tips she has learned at Christmas Heirloom.
Chrizaan is passionate about Christmas and shares this passion with her daughter Emily, who is our youngest enthusiast, and is already practising her bow tying to work in our stores when she is older.
Heather joined our team in 2015, and while she moved from England at the time, she is originally from Canada.
Heather is the backbone of our warehouse and manages the smooth running of our incoming and outgoing shipments.
During the season Heather oversees the Ellerslie store and puts together our beautiful Hire packages.
When she is not busy making sure our stores have everything they need, she is being mum to Kayden, and along with her partner Maia, is very involved in the community and leadership in the guides association.
