Christmas Tree

There are many different ideas as to when the Christmas tree should be put up. This usually depends on culture and nationality. In New Zealand there are still people who hold strongly to their tradition but many people have changed to what is practical for the season, family and holiday arrangements. These are quite different to other parts of the world where they only have a short break at Christmas.  Artificial Christmas trees are usually put up at the beginning of December whereas real trees need to be left until much closer to Christmas as they do not tend to last long in the heat of summer.
